Text-message opt-in
Last updated: September 10, 2026
This page shows exactly how a tenant consents to receive text messages from DamnSuper, for anyone who needs to see it without a DamnSuper account — including the carrier and aggregator reviewers who assess our messaging campaign.
Who can opt in
DamnSuper is not open to the public. A tenant is invited to a private account by the property-management company that runs their building, and signs in at www.damnsuper.ai. There is no public sign-up form and no purchased list. The screen below is the only way a number is ever enrolled — there is no keyword anyone can text to sign up, and no number is added from any other source.
The one exception is not an exception to that rule. Someone who opted in on that screen and later replied STOP can reply START, YES, or UNSTOP to resume — the standard carrier keywords, which we honour as required. Those keywords restore a consent that was already given here; they cannot create one, and a number that never opted in on the screen below receives nothing by texting them.
Where the opt-in lives
Once signed in, a tenant opens Profile → Text updates. This is what they see. It is the same component this page renders — not a screenshot of it — so it always shows the current wording:
Text updates
Get text updates from DamnSuper about your repair requests — when a visit is scheduled, changed, or completed. Up to 30 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Privacy Policy and Terms.
The switch above is operable and writes nothing; there is no account behind this page. Turn it on to see the line a tenant sees when they opt in.
What that screen guarantees
- Off by default, never pre-checked. The stored value defaults to off, and nothing turns it on but the tenant.
- Never required. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of creating an account, filing a repair request, or getting a repair. Nothing in the product is gated on it.
- Reversible at any time — from the same switch, or by replying STOP to any message.
The program
- Program name: DamnSuper Repair Updates.
- What we send: transactional and informational updates about a repair request the tenant filed — when a visit is proposed, confirmed, rescheduled, or completed, and when a request’s status changes. No marketing or promotional messages are sent on this program.
- Message frequency: up to 30 messages per month, varying with activity on the tenant’s own requests.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, or email support@damnsuper.ai.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Messages are sent in the tenant’s own preferred language, the same language the interface above is displayed in.
